I am writing this blog so that I can put into words the journey that Jesus is taking me. This journey has been a long there have been many setbacks but the road is still before me and I am still here trying my best to travel down it.
First I have to say that the only reason I am where I am today is because of the grace of God and the people who love me. this is no joke there have been so many time were I have wanted to give up and throw in towel but Jesus would come by my side and pick me up or someone would grab my hand and say let me help you through this. This verse is so true for me:
2 Chronicles 20:12
12"O our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude that are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You."
Powerless that experience is so not fun. I hate the feeling of being powerless because I think most of the time that I can handle because of my strength or abilities but....I can't!! I have to keep my eyes on someone who has the strength to help me. Like the poem "foot prints in the sand." I feel like that a lot. "Why God have to abandoned me, in the hardest times of my life I can only see one set of foot prints in the sand"
And without fail Jesus reminds me, "Joe those times when you see only one set of foot prints those are the times when I was carrying you." WOW!!!
The name of the blog I may explain this later on.
